Diversity Is Killing American Prosperity.
So many companies, schools even sports team are investing their identity in having diversity in the work force. The problem is that qualified candidates are passed over for the unqualified on the basses of some factor other than performance.
Back in the 1980's Mike Ditka was the head of the Chicago Bears. He once said he didn't care who someone is. He was going to play the best 11 players. This is not the attitude now. Instead of raising the level of everyone to meet the standard. The standard is being lowered (dumbing down of America). The result is excellence has been replaced by mediocrity. Lowering the bare to include everyone is diminishing the over all performance of the group.
Everyone is given one life time to invest as they will. Some prepare for the task at hand while other waist time chasing fruitless paths. It is not only unfair to give place to those that have wasted their opportunity in life. (Instead of giving it to that them that have invested themselves in the pursuit of excellence.) But it also is unproductive.
The over all result is that America has lost it's competitive edge. Do you think the Chinese are into diversity? How about India, Russia or other countries? I can guaranty you. THEY ARE NOT!
In history nations rise and fall. We are living through the decline and fall of the American empire.
